Park City, Utah Family Photographer | Summertime in the Alfalfa Field
I can’t say how much I love photographing you and your people as they are, right now. We can’t make time slow down, and it seems that the more we try, the quicker it goes. Especially with a growing family. That’s the magic of photography. We can freeze time. It sounds kind of like a superpower, and I think it kind of is.
I know summertime is busy for a lot of families. But I think summer is the best time of year and is one of my favorite times for family photo sessions. There are so many photoshoot ideas and locations. We did this family session running through an alfalfa field and playing with chickens and kittens in front of a chicken coop. Summer outfits and bare feet. Other ideas could be anything water-related -- swimming, chilling on the beach, hiking, hot spring swimming, camping, you name it. Those are where some of the best memories are made and are so beautiful to have photographed. Summertime photo sessions are sunny and happy, and warm--they give us something warm to get us through winter and remind us that it won’t last forever (unless you live in Utah, then yes, winter does last forever). But to have that sunshine on the walls or in an album to look at regularly builds new memories while you bond and remind yourselves of your time together in the sun. No need to wait for fall, plan a photo session for one of your summer adventures. You won’t regret it.
