Where you might sneak away to get away from the kids and they somehow always manage to find you. From the beat-up couch that’s been jumped on way too many times, to the vintage toys passed down from grandparents, there is so much heart in our homes. It’s beautiful to be in another person’s home--to see what they have brought in and surrounded themselves with, what is meaningful to them. Seeing dirty dishes in the sink, the pride the kids have in their own bedrooms, kids coming out of their shells because this is where they’re comfortable. So comfortable in fact that they start pulling out a slew of poses that they think are killer--and guess what-- they actually are (see photo of cute kiddo in green pants with one foot on the bed, the other on the dresser). We all know the day to day is not super glamorous, but photos of your family in your home illustrate your day to day in a way that reminds you that you are the meaning makers for your children.
