Heber, Utah Family Photographer | One Year Photo Session

Ok it’s official! We are now Heber, Utah residents!!! And I am now officially calling myself a Heber, Utah Wedding and Family Photographer and will be taking on new clients in Heber, Salt Lake, Park, City, Orem, and surrounding areas. And beyond of course, because I am always up for traveling to you for sessions.

So, prior to the move came the selling of our home, which had an indoor studio in it. I did this one year photo session of Watts there and it was seriously the perfect earthy setting with white walls, warm wood flooring, and of course my cool tree stumps that Dayne found for me. I am going to miss it! One of my favorite things when I do first birthday sessions for this family, is that Kaycee (Mama) loves simplicity and I’m all about that. She brought a couple cute, cozy outfits, a hand made wooden letter puzzle by Wood House Designs, and a simple white cake that she threw some sage on. SO cute! Another thing I love that she does is that she doesn’t give her baby any treats until their first birthday, where they get to dig into their birthday cake. And this little guy dug in by taking a gigantic bit out of his cake like it was a cheeseburger. We followed the session with a bath to clean up the frosting and basically just had a grand old time. (Hint: I love doing any type of photos in the tub, so don’t be surprised if I suggest it. I’ll do it for newborns, kids, bridal bath the morning of the wedding, you name it).
