I’m Tai, and I’m so glad you are here.
I cannot wait to highlight your life with you and your loved ones as you experience new moments, and make new memories.
Your life is beautiful, and deserves to be documented in a beautiful, artistic way, and I’m here to bring calm and comfort throughout the process, helping to guide you along the way.
MY APPROACH
MY PROCESS
I take a quiet, observant approach, looking for moments and details that tell the story of the day through thoughtful composition and use of lighting.
We’ll discuss beforehand whether you want a lot of guidance and direction, want to be present with as little intervention from me as possible, or a mixture of the two.
Your will receive a combination of color and black and white images, and one roll of complimentary film (add more if you like). The edit of the photos, whether black and white or color, is to reflect the feel of the day and the moment.
My main focus is to create beautiful, artful images for you that tell the story of the day.
THE EXPERIENCE
NO. 1
natural, candid, authentic
A lot of people worry that this means we won’t get any photos of you looking at the camera. We will take time for those, but the main focus is on natural moments, connection, movement, and details.
No. 2
a mix of guided posing, and observing
You don’t have to know how to pose yourselves and “act natural” in front of the camera. I will guide you into poses that look and feel comfortable and authentic in your photos.
No. 3
Clean editing with an artistic twist
Gone are the days where I follow trendy editing styles that will be looked back on with a cringe. I keep my edits clean, but add some artistic touches with lighting, subtle color adjustments, and a touch of film grain for nostalgia.
