I loved collaborating in Sundace, Utah at the Timpanogas Trailhead with fellow creative Katie Bushnell from Havenwood. She did such a beautiful job at taking the little bit of inspiration I sent her and really bringing it to life with her fine art wedding styling. This is exactly what a wedding stylist does. It’s easy to pin all the pretty pictures to Pinterest but it’s an entirely different thing to know how to bring it all together and have it look pretty and balanced. It’s overwhelming to look at all the different wedding table decorations and centerpieces, and even if you do find the right ones, arranging them takes a trained, creative eye. Katie has a way of mixing earthy, organic materials with the perfect touches of modern and vintage that gives her designs a timeless look. She has a thoughtful, intentional style that feels like home. Somehow, she was able to make a picnic in the snow look warm and cozy. She’s a freaking wizard. If you’re looking for a fine art stylist for your wedding day, she’s the one to go with. I was also able to collaborate with one of my favorite florists, who is also a wizard and brings together every single vision I send to her perfectly. Megan with Persimmon Floral also has that trained creative eye and is the nicest human. I loved working with each of these fellow women business owners.
